Family business with a history
Behind every successful transport operation is not just a vehicle, but people who give their best every day. On the road, in the workshop, in the cleaning department, in the office and everywhere in between: Our team keeps Lettl running.
What makes us special is our family atmosphere. For us, it’s not just performance that counts, but also people. We support each other, stick together and create a working environment in which everyone feels comfortable and can contribute. Whether new challenges, tight schedules or special customer requests: we pull together and find solutions.
Our employees are the heart of our company.
We are proud of our team. And of what we will achieve together.
"On the road across Europe. Regionally at home."

A long story,…
1906 Founding of Lettl Transporte GmbH as a family business; milk transportation initially with a horse and cart
1938 Use of the first Lettl truck; start of the real success story and expansion of transportation from livestock to building materials
1990 Stephan and Elisabeth Lettl take over the management in the fourth generation; continuation of the claim to quality, reliability and humanity
1998 Takeover of the Meggle dairy fleet
1999 Move to the new company premises with tank cleaning and workshop at the current Wasserburg site
2010 Purchase of first tanker trailer for sterile transportation
2012 Start of container trucking from Munich
2014 Foundation of Lettl Nutzfahrzeuge GmbH
2018 Takeover of Liquidmaster liquid transports in Mannheim
2020 Expansion through extension to workshop and office building
2021 Start with the first rented tank containers
2022 Purchase of the first 10 own tank containers
2023 Installation of a CO² tank for beer cleaning
2024 Stephan and Martin join the management team
2025 Purchase of a Kalmar reach stacker for the storage of tank containers
To this day, Lettl has remained firmly in family hands and is ready for the future. Since 2025, sons Stephan and Martin Lettl have been part of the company management: Stephan is responsible for the commercial area, Martin for the technical management. An e-charging infrastructure for trucks and cars is currently being built at the site – a clear sign of where the company is heading. And in 2027, a wind turbine project in which Stephan and Martin are involved will go into operation.
From horse and cart to high-tech fleet: Lettl has stood for movement, reliability and human strength for over a century.
